Manus has officially announced that it is joining Meta, marking a major milestone and the beginning of a “next era of innovation” in the development of autonomous AI agents. This move is more than just a corporate update—it represents strong validation of Manus’s vision to build general-purpose AI agents capable of research, automation, and handling complex real-world tasks efficiently.

Since its launch, Manus has focused on developing reliable AI technology designed for practical use cases. Over recent months, the platform has processed more than 147 trillion tokens and supported over 80 million virtual computers, highlighting the scale and robustness of its underlying infrastructure. Manus positions itself as an execution layer, meaning its AI is built not only to generate responses, but also to complete tasks end-to-end.

The company emphasized that joining Meta will not disrupt its existing services. Manus will continue operating its subscription-based products through its website and applications, while remaining headquartered in Singapore. Founder Xiao Hong stated that the partnership provides long-term stability and resources, without changing the team’s independence in product direction and decision-making.

Looking ahead, Manus aims to expand its technology to reach more businesses and potentially billions of users across Meta’s ecosystem. This collaboration opens new opportunities for more advanced and practical AI integration in everyday digital experiences, while reinforcing Meta’s broader ambition to accelerate global AI innovation.
