Groq has announced that it has signed a non-exclusive licensing agreement with NVIDIA for Groq’s inference technology. The agreement is intended to expand access to high-performance, cost-efficient AI inference.
Under this agreement, Groq’s inference technology is licensed to NVIDIA for use in developing and deploying AI solutions.
As part of the agreement, Groq founder Jonathan Ross, Groq president Sunny Madra, and several other Groq team members will join NVIDIA to help advance and scale the licensed technology.
Groq will continue to operate as an independent company, with Simon Edwards serving as Chief Executive Officer. GroqCloud will also continue to operate without disruption.
