Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) has officially introduced its latest Ryzen AI Embedded processor portfolio, designed to bring powerful artificial intelligence capabilities directly to embedded devices. These processors integrate Zen 5 CPU architecture, RDNA 3.5 graphics, and XDNA 2 NPU into a single chip, enabling high AI performance with optimized power efficiency.
The new portfolio targets key sectors such as automotive, industrial, and physical AI applications, including in-vehicle infotainment systems, robotics, computer vision, and industrial automation. By enabling on-device AI processing at the edge, these solutions deliver low latency and reduced reliance on cloud connectivity, making them ideal for real-time and mission-critical use cases.
The Ryzen AI Embedded P100 and X100 Series offer CPU configurations of up to 6 cores and deliver AI performance reaching tens of TOPS (trillions of operations per second). Enhanced graphics capabilities also support advanced visualization, human-machine interfaces (HMI), and immersive user experiences in modern embedded systems.
With this launch, AMD reinforces its commitment to expanding the AI ecosystem from data centers to the edge.
